Hey Collar Club fam,

We’ve got some important updates to share, and we want to take a moment to not just tell you what’s changing but explain why.

Over the last few years, Collar Club has grown thanks to your trust, your pets, and your incredible support. What started as a passion project quickly turned into a thriving word of mouth pet care community in Charlotte. With that growth, we've realized something: in order to continue delivering the personal, consistent, and reliable care your pets deserve, we need a little more structure behind the scenes.

What’s Changing (and Why)

a new booking flow

We’ll be moving all bookings through our client portal so nothing slips through the cracks. It keeps everything clear, timely, and trackable for both you and us.

Think of it as upgrading from a group chat to really nice zoom call where we can communicate better.

streamlined payments

You can now choose to pay:

• 100 percent upfront (easy and done)

• Or 50 percent upfront and 50 percent after, with a card on file.

This helps us plan, ensures sitters are covered, and removes awkward payment follow-ups.

late fees and booking holds

To keep things fair for our sitters and transparent for you, we’re introducing a late fee policy and will hold future bookings if a balance remains unpaid.

It’s not about being strict, but about protecting the flow and care of the community.

updated cancellation policy

Life happens, and we get it. That’s why we’re setting clearer guidelines around cancellations:

• Cancel 3 days in advance: no charge.

• Cancel 2 days before: 50 percent charge.

• Cancel the day of: full charge.

This helps respect our sitters’ time while still giving you flexibility.

We know price increases aren't anyone’s favorite email, but they matter when done with intention. Our 2025 pricing changes reflect the growing needs of our team, the rising demand for care, and our commitment to being way more than just a pet sitter.

why prices are changing.. . slightly

As we've grown, so have our costs, from sitter pay to tech tools like Time to Pet. This small price adjustment helps us:

• Pay our sitters fairly and retain quality talent

• Improve scheduling and communication tools

• Provide flexible care with real-time updates

• Keep you and your pet’s experience consistent and stress-free

2025 service updates (Effective May 5th, 2025)

We’ve updated our service names and descriptions to better reflect the experience your pet receives, without changing the care you’ve come to expect. And while we’re setting a clearer structure around timing, we’re still Collar Club: flexible, friendly, and always here to work with your needs.

Relax & Play	$30	45 min – 1 hour	A balanced visit for stimulation, attention, and enrichment. Perfect for pets that enjoy a slower pace or extra bonding time.
Sunset Slumber	$85	Approximately 10 hrs	Our overnight care typically runs from late afternoon (around 4 PM) to morning (10 AM). That said, we’re flexible—if you need an earlier drop-in or later start, we’ll work with you when availability allows.
All-Day Paw Stay	$110	Up to 12 hours	A full day of customized care, great for extended days out. While the standard range is 8 AM to 8 PM, we’ll do our best to accommodate slight shifts depending on sitter availability.
Additional Pet	$5	Flat fee	Add another furry family member to any service. Easy, affordable, and keeps the fun going for everyone!

📌 Additional visits? Just $15 each when booked at the new 2025 rate.
